How to get 2 free plants

What could possibly be better than plants? Free plants of course! So keep reading to learn how you can get 2 free plants.

Brisbane City Council is all about working towards their #CleanandGreenBrisbane initiative and to do so they've introduced the Free Native Plants Program to help Brisbaners green-ify their properties. The program is offering a variety of native species to help grow the city’s urban forest and support local wildlife.

The program is open to the following residents and entities within Brisbane:

- residential ratepayers

- residential tenants

- residential body corporates

- schools

- registered community groups

- clubs on council-leased land

- official citizenship ceremonies.

You can claim 2 free native plants each financial year and choose from a variety of plants including groundcovers, tufting plants, climbers, shrubs and feature trees. The plants on offer also all suit Brisbane soils and our subtropical climate!
