As consumers become increasingly concerned with the environmental impact of their purchases, Australian start-up Monty Compost Co is ahead of the curve with locally manufactured Monty Monitor, a smart composting device that transmits compost health data to the user's phone. By keeping production close to home, Monty has unlocked the ability to mitigate the carbon emissions associated with shipping and unsustainable overseas practices.
