Welcome to the world of Monty!

First thing’s first - we’re so excited and grateful to welcome you into our community of composters as one of the earliest Monty Monitor owners! On this page, we’ve put together everything you could need to get started and keep going with your newest compost companion so let’s kick off.

How It Works

Easy set-up in three simple steps

Step 1

Unbox your Monitor and wireless charger

The Monty Monitor packaging has been intuitively designed so that all it takes to open up is removing the lid! To get to charger and charging cable, remove the Monitor and remove the insert - both these boxes are stored within the insert. Oh and by the way ... all the packaging can go straight into your compost.

Step 2

Download the Monty Mobile app on your phone

Search, download and open up Monty Mobile in whichever app store your smartphone uses. If you’ve already downloaded it, make sure you've updated it to the latest version and switch it off 'app-only mode' in the settings.

Step 3

Create an account and sync up

Once you’ve downloaded Monty Mobile, creating an account is super straightforward. After entering your email and setting up your password, you will be directed to automatically sync with your Monitor. From there, you can explore the full extent of the app, with guided tutorials, heaps of features and a fully customisable profile.

If you already have an account, just navigate to settings and select Switch off app-only mode.
